Method 1: Update Android Operating System

Android error code 505 can be seen on Android 5.0 Lollipop and KitKat 4.4. This error will be resolved when you upgrade your Android device from 5.0 to Lollipop 5.1 or later. To check your device version please follow the steps below:

  3. Press System update
  4. Press Check update
  5. Your device will automatically tell you if you want to update. Press Yes to confirm
  6. Wait for your device to finish installing the update

Method 2: Update Android Application

In this method, you have to update all application on your phone. Android error code 505 Play Store may also occur if a supporting application was not updated in an application, which requires it. To update all applications, which requires an update, please see below:

Method 3: Clear Google Play Store cache

Sometimes, clearing Google Play Store cache will fix the error for you. Android error code 505 Play Store is a very common error in Android device. When you have two Android phones and using one Google Android. You will face error code 505 in Play Store. Please clear cache and try using Google play store again, here are simple steps below:

  9. Now reconnect to your internet connection

Method 4: Factory Reset from Android Phone Setting
